Alison handmade the adorable yellow bow tie in these images, she’s that girl. Her creative spirit and her artful mindset come across in the way she styles her family for our sessions. In Alison’s case it’s effortless. What to wear to in a family photo session is a FAQ. Clients have reported using inspiration from Alison’s former sessions to style their own. In this way, her family has become an artful “poster family” of sorts. I had a few other family sessions in San Clemente the day of our shoot but a last minute cancellation that allowed me a chance to grab coffee with Ali and catch up. Alison is also the little girl across the street with a Rainbow Brite and white fluffy cat from my childhood, a pseudo 3rd sister. It’s fun to watch her family grow and freeze a few of these moments.
