I love stories within stories! I must have chosen the hottest day to shoot my San Diego fall mini session. This little one was ready to let her hair down mid-session and quickly pulled out her ponytail and reached into her mother’s purse for a brush. She was glowing with this simple act of exercising her own autonomy and this act allowed for a perfect moment to capture her fun personality. I love capturing the smaller stories that naturally unfold during a shoot.

I love attempting to capture more “observational style” images of parents with their children. These are a couple images from a session at Scripps Pier in La Jolla last weekend. Captured after the session was “technically over.” Janene, you are one beautiful mama! I am loving this creamy Hollywood black and white. More soon in color.
Sitting in spa lobby over the weekend, I recognized a advertisement featured in Modern Luxury Magazine that I shot for Little APPLE boutique in Little Italy. It was fun to unexpectedly happen upon some of my work. This boutique is a hidden hot spot and the owners are sisters, I love that!
